Butterfly Room
Welcome to Butterflies
Butterflies is our dedicated room for children aged 3-4 and provides an environment where they are happy, stimulated and comfortable. The room is open plan and the children have the freedom to explore independently. It has carpeted areas, wet area and access to role play, a library and the extensive outdoor area.
Outdoor Classroom
The Children in the Butterfly room have direct free flow access to the outdoor classroom. The outdoor classroom provides opportunities for messy play activities to take place and allows the children to have plenty of fresh air and the chance to be outside whilst being sheltered from certain weather conditions.
Outdoors
The Butterfly children spend alot of time outside. They enjoy planting, watering and watching things grow in the garden, using the diggers in the digger area, playing in the water tray, making marks and drawing in the literacy shed, listening to a story in the cosy area, making mud pies in the mud kitchen and playing on the climbing frame, slide and in the sand pit. Activities are also planned for them in the woodland too, including weekly forest school sessions led by fully qualified forest school leaders.
