The Team

Manager Helen Walters

My name is Helen Walters and I have been the Manager of Weaverham Pre School for 16 years
In addition to my managerial role I support children with additional needs and have qualifications and extensive experience in Makaton, Speech and Language and ELSA with is a Social and Emotional Literacy Support Programme.
I believe that play is an integral part of early learning through which children develop the cognitive, social and emotional skills they need to take them successfully into school and beyond.
Our wonderful outdoor areas provide the opportunities to explore and learn through their own unique interests and ideas.
In my spare time I like to go for walks, read and spend time with my family, taking day trips to the beach.

I have been working in Early Years for 15 years and I am passionate about providing stimulating environments for children to develop into confident and happy little people.
I love to provide a rich tapestry of activities to enable the children to develop their own interests and find new and different ways of expressing themselves.
My spare time is devoted to my family including my 2 young children and we spend a lot of our time outdoors.

Early Years Educator Julie Robinson Key Worker in Caterpillars

My name is Julie and I work in the Caterpillar Room with our 2 year old children. I am passionate about children learning through play by providing stimulating, adventurous and creative experiences. I love the outdoors and believe that they thrive best by exploring the natural world – our forest area is fantastic and gives lots of scope for the children to explore.
I have 3 children myself and love spending time at the beach (when we are allowed) and on walks with them and my crazy, excitable pooch Louie!
I believe in giving children the best possible start in life so needless to say that I love my job.
